Typed from Original Handwritten letter

Dear Ann & Erol

I found out the dreadful news from Flora Aksel this morning. I am writing to express how deeply sorry I am to to lose such a beautiful friend, and also to express my condolences.

During his stay in Edinburgh, he kept in touch with me, my family and all my friends. Since his graduation he's contacted us regularly and always said goodbye efore he departed.

I was so proud of him, that everytime I introduced him to someone else I was thrilled.

I suppose I tried to make a connection between Kubilay and my two daughters (as they both have British mothers) and wished my children would have turned out to be like him.

He was always a joy to everyone around him. I consider myself privilaged to have known him. We all loved him dearly and will never forget him. He had so much to contribute to the world by way of his kindness, intelligence, sense of humour and his personality.

I woudn't even try to contemplate the degree of your sorrow. I am just trying to express my love and admiration to your son.

Everone who knew him Edinburgh asked me to express their condolence. Sara & Roxanne, Neco Gorgulu, Wendy, Erdogan and Katrina Bayraktar, Huseyin Sanli, Flora Aksel and many others expressed their condolences.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to contact his friends(i.e. Barry and others) and his former flatmates.

Once again, I would like to say how sorry we alll are to lose such a good friend and beautiful person. We will miss him a lot.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you fell there is something I can do.

Basiniz Sagolsun.
